Malvern-based Talisman Plastics investment program continues with a further two machines being delivered to site in August 2021.
The company has chosen to invest in the new generation Haitian Mars injection moulding machine that provides major improvements in production flexibility with class leading energy efficiency and repeatability. This world leading production technology, using servo hydraulic technology, is designed to deliver shorter cycle times and very precise tolerances on security seal products.
The two machines are located in a recently refurbished area of the shop floor, supporting Talisman’s journey to achieving BRC accreditation early in 2022.
Shaun Champion, managing director at Talisman Plastics, explains:
“Demand for cleaner and leaner moulding operations continue to grow in the UK. This investment is a key part of our overall strategy of creating a better working environment and most importantly aligning to our changing customer needs.
“These two 90mt machines, will be further complimented by a 160mt machine due to be delivered early in 2022.”
The new additions come of the back of the latest Caps & Closures news which recently saw new tooling developed.
